The grounds and all interment areas are cared for on an ongoing basis, preserving the landscape’s tranquillity and ensuring it remains a place of respect, reflection, and remembrance for generations to come.

Rights of Interment – Availability
The Eltham Cemetery Trust offers a range of interment options for cremated remains, designed to complement the natural landscape of the cemetery and provide a dignified and lasting place of remembrance. Several styles are available, allowing families to select an option that best reflects their needs and preferences.
Rights of Interment for cremated remains are primarily offered on an at-need basis, meaning they are intended for immediate use following a cremation. In limited circumstances, the Trust may permit the pre-purchase of Rights of Interment, provided at least one position within the arrangement is reserved for at-need use. This approach ensures the Trust can continue to meet immediate community needs while allowing some flexibility for families.
