This early bridge in Eltham was situated on

Main Road, near Eltham Lower Park. This timber

trestle bridge was damaged in the 1924 floods

and was subsequently replaced in 1926 by a

concrete bridge.

The plant selected for this panel is an

Acacia

dealbata

or commonly known as the silver wattle,

which is seen growing alongside creeks and rivers

throughout the Nillumbik Shire.
