This early bridge in Eltham was situated on
Main Road, near Eltham Lower Park. This timber
trestle bridge was damaged in the 1924 floods
and was subsequently replaced in 1926 by a
concrete bridge.
The plant selected for this panel is an
Acacia
dealbata
or commonly known as the silver wattle,
which is seen growing alongside creeks and rivers
throughout the Nillumbik Shire.
